The hotel has its ups and downs. While the rooms were spacious and quiet, the attempt to mask odors wasn't quite successful. However, considering the price range, the rooms are adequate for a pleasant stay. The service stood out for being exceptionally nice, with the added bonus of a late check-out option. On the flip side, the dining experience was hit or miss, with limited breakfast options available early. The location, although convenient and safe, might lack a bit of charm and variety. Overall, it's a decent stay with some room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room had a strange smell that seemed like an attempt to mask cigarette smoke, but it was quiet, and I appreciated the below-ground level setting. The staff was incredibly helpful, allowing a late check-out for our convenience. The location was decent, close to some restaurants and a short drive to Starved Rock State Park. The dining experience was ready ahead of time but could use some improvement. Despite some drawbacks, the overall stay was positive.
